STANDARD TERMS OF BUSINESS

Discount

• Protoculture offers a forty percent (40%) discount off the cover price on all our products (magazines and books) for retailers.

• Protoculture offers a sixty percent (60%) discount for distributors.

• Distributors can take advantage of a two percent (2%) Early Payment Discount if an invoice is paid within ten (10) Days.

Order

• There is NO MINIMUM order or ordering increments.

• Orders can be placed anytime.

• We accept absolutely NO RETURN. All sales are final.

• Back issues are available anytime (see our catalog for availability).

• Orders for new releases must be sent to us at least one week (preferably one month) before the announced shipping date. Distributors and retailers will be reminded by e-mail a week prior to the shipping date. Orders should be sent by e-mail to insure that no mistake is made on the products' names or the quantity. When you e-mail an order make sure it is well received, either by phoning us or by asking us to confirm reception. Don't hold us responsible for an order that we did not received. A Purchase Order number (PO#) is also recommanded.

Shipping

• Large orders (100+) are shipped directly from the printer (by UPS or Freight Transport).

• Protoculture ships most orders by regular mail (Canada Post Expedited Parcel or USPS Priority Mail). UPS and Express services are also available anytime upon request and at extra cost (to be determined by weight).

• For North American orders, Protoculture covers freight charges for orders over thirty-five (25) magazines or fifteen (15) books.

• For North American orders, Freight charges are billed back to the customer (in part or in total, depending on quantity) for any order below twenty-five (25) magazines or fifteen (15) books. Depending on quantity, it will represent a cost between $2 and $12 US.

• Oversea distributors & retailers will be charged the shipping cost in full (no matter which quantity). However, the cost can be reduced if we ship to a forwarding location in Canada or in continental USA.

• We recommand to consolidate together orders and eventual re-orders.

Payment

• First-time orders must be pre-paid.

• Payment is due within thirty (30) Days (or ten (10) days with Early Payment Discount)

• US and all overseas distributors must pay in U.S. currency.

• Payment can be made by check (preferably certified), money-order, draft or via PayPal (send payment to order@protoculture.ca).

• Interest fees of two percent (2%) per month (24% per year) will be charged to late accounts on every late invoices.

• A flat fee of $20.00 will be billed to the account for any NSF check.

• Past due accounts may be denied credit and/or supply of products.
